· The smart Adapter (EnergyMate) is installed in the service closet of selected HDB projects as part of the HEMS pilot.

Smart Home Hub (EnergyHub)
What it does:

Uses AI to detect and monitor the energy usage of individual appliances. You’ll also get smart alerts and personalised usage tips.

Non-Intrusive Load Monitoring (NILM) is a smart system that identifies which appliances are in use based on their energy usage patterns — without the need for additional sensors or smart plugs. It also provides personalised energy-saving tips and insights. The home energy management system offers both appliance-level recognition and user behaviour suggestions, enabling the monitoring of household energy consumption.
The system learns the appliance energy usage patterns and identifies any out of the norm energy consumption range – such as a fridge using more power than usual or an air conditioner switched on for an unusually long period. These alerts can help prevent energy wastage, improve safety and detect potential faults early.
